I`ve seen here one thread, when someone lost more than $1.000.000 with the odds less than 1.01. Do you still sure that it is good strategy?
The same time i can say that lots of people are in gambling for fun, to take a rest after job. I can make few bets after a work to make brain to think about something else.
I recall the thread you are talking about, but I can't find the link to it. It's just another proof to show that low odds don't guarantee straight winnings; games with high odds can win against the one with low odds. We should not place bets with overconfidence because the odds are low and think we have the advantage on our side, as some usually say, low odds increase the chances of winning.
Exactly. I tried myself such strategy with small bankroll. I made $5 bets with bankroll $100 for any event with odds less 1.1. As the result it toke me about 2 weeks to lose all my money. So there were 2 mistakes. First of all - small odds doesn`t give you guarantee of win. Second - it would be better to make some research even if the odd is small enough.
Don't trust too much on odds, they're just references but don't guarantee us good winning. Much better if we knew the game and team that we're betting for. You'll be ending with a biased choice when you're going to bet on your top choices. Don't ever risk your small money on uncertain targets on odds, and even though you had research, putting too much confidence in it could lead to more losses than wins.
