The thing with Wiggins though is that he is inconsistent and it seems that his mindset is not there unlike when he joined the Warriors in 2022. And that's why I think he was traded as he no longer the Wiggins that they have known before and his game really goes down in the last 2 years.
Before Wiggins was traded to the Warriors, he was already inconsistent. In fact, the Warriors were the best team for him since he was able to win a championship there. But now that he's with the Miami Heat, it's a different culture, so he might be influenced to play more consistently. Though honestly, I don’t expect much from him, but hopefully, Coach Spo can unlock his consistency.
There could be a chance that Wiggins might still improved, just like when he join the Warriors, suddenly there is a shift in his mindset. He already post a heartfelt message to the Dub Nation, including team mates, coaches and everything around that City.
And then he concluded that he is ready to be in the Heat uniform. So maybe changing teams might do good for him in the latter part of his career. So let's see how he will do with the city of Miami then. He could be the next franchise player for them.
That's what I'm thinking as well because Heat has a culture that you have to play for their system and I think Wiggins could fit in there.
The good thing about these trades is that teams has been unpredictable lately and there could be a chance that current standings will flip because of it, if GMs are sure of whom they traded especially for Dallas, Bucks, Sacramento, and Spurs to say the least. What's the funny thing with these recent trades as well was with Schroeder, the man is really tired of this.
