Oh and I lied about not following FIS. Odermatt did even worse today. Gives me hope.

Trainings often don't mean much.. But yeah, he'll probably concentrate more on giant slalom and super-G in which he's a bigger candidate for the gold.

Regarding Liverpool, initially I went with No but Spurs really have a lot of injuries. Was still surprised to see most of the pool expecting a LFC handicap win today.

F1 practice vibes I guess huh. Hope you're right and he just saves his energy for something he can do better in (judging from training). Not sure how it goes today but he starts first so presumably, we'll find out the answer to this before the event ends (as soon as someone after him beats his time).

Really surprised about majority Liverpool win too. Spurs did knock City out and beat us. Maybe surprise is not the right word. Disappointed? heh

4/5 points so far, might say Im very pleased just need to keep the good pace. I hope today new coach of Borussia Dortmund Niko Kovač will start with a win.
Kovač is an interesting one, I am expecting him to do really well in short term but then to loose dressing room and get fired before actually finishing the job. He is a coach that demands a lot on trainings, there is also a lot of medical tests, mandatory diets and whatnot included. That usually ends with locker room senators getting pissed and just waiting for first bad result to start undermining him.

Yeah, my usual mode is to go on a shit team that has a new manager -- Everton the latest example of what can happen with new manager bounce, players performing above and beyond etc. Then again, Stuttgart will be hurt they were shat on in Champions League. OK they actually have a good shout in Pokal but they'll want to still qualify for Europe. That was what I felt anyway, and why I went for 36/10 odds despite it not being so attractive when BVB were 18/10.

Ended up being an anomaly. 8 attempts on goal to 2, and still lost courtesy of an own goal and luckier finishing, plus 4 saves from visiting keeper. And when BVB looked like they were going to mount a huge comeback, Ryerson gets sent off for protesting a freekick he'd already won. Lost their heads, collected cards, and lost. Hooray for me.

Actually don't know much about this Kovac guy but many of us thought Sahin was going to do all right too...
