Many people tend to put Real Madrid as the most favored and better team to win this match and that is because of their history in the champions league and also how they play to the end in any circumstance they find themselves in. They are a very tough team both, and you can’t use history of this competition to judge any team in this match. Real Madrid may have good history in the past, but today, how they’re performing will not make them stand a chance whatsoever to make it to the final round of the competition.

They’re meeting now in the competition with Manchester City because of how poorly they’ve both been as a team in this competition, so they’re both at a chance of making it to the next round which will depend on how they play in this games. I don’t have a preferred team, but their performance will speak for themselves and to how far they can make it to the next round of the competition.
History is just an old record of clashes between two teams, in reality you can’t even use it as a reference to predict the future outcome of it. Even if the odds are extremely high and everything says that a team will lose a match, there is always a possibility of losing the bet. In this case, Real Madrid performed better than last season before facing Manchester City, so we have different expectations this time.
When we speak about LaLiga or Premier League, we cannot compare it to Champions League, because each time now is trying and giving it all the shots for a qualification, I see that Manchester City is in their worst season since a long time now. However, I would say they are going to play well in the next match and chase their chances for a qualification against Real Madrid.

As a Madridista fan, I would like to see an easy win for the team, but we cannot predict anything until the final whistle. As much as it can be an easy win, it can be a bad loss. What matters is enjoying a good game with a great performance.
