Previously hacked adroitful_one woke up and asked for $60...

adroitful_one [BPIP] woke up and asked for $60

Their last post was on the 2020-06-29 a month after this (now locked) thread was started:

DO NOT TRADE WITH Adroitful_one! His account was Compromised!(FIXED) which was started by their "brother" - Devawnm367 [BPIP] (both users changed their passwords withing one week of each-other back in 2018)

Devawnm367 got slapped with a flag by @shasan for a loan default [here] [Flag] and had an alt exposed at that time hold-coins [BPIP] [Flag]

adroitful_one has given their "brother" Devawnm367 92 merit [BPIP] - Devawnm367 in turn has given their alt hold-coins 21 merit [BPIP]

adroitful_one and Devawnm367 both DT trust each-other https://loyce.club/trust/2025-02-08_Sat_04.28h/407213.html

At the time of the "don't trade with..." thread, adroitful_one was sable to sign a message proving ownership using the wallet address 1GhxHtabWhEpdb7e7oEJ2vd542n33BwTHR which was on their profile page eight years ago [1] and as ccurrent as 2024-09-14 when this archive was taken [2]. (that archive suggests they were last online on February 08, 2021)

Currently, adroitful_one has the wallet address bc1qn9kcpklq6eh4hqxsvlewxm4llvvaem2gm593d0 [mempool] [ninja] posted on the profile page.  However, mempool shows there have been no transactions to the address, so I can't say for certain how long it has been on their profile page (but at a guess, they changed it when they woke up) and likewise, Ninja has not seen it either.

As one user observed at the time

Will do just busy at the moment. He called me and said people are making wierd post under his account redflag! I will update more when I know!

That's a tactic that's been used by hackers and scammers in the past.  Rather than changing the password, which would alert the owner the account has been hacked, they'll leave the settings untouched and just make posts, loan requests, send PMs, and hope the owner of the account doesn't notice.

adroitful_one started a thread Legendary Member looking for a loan of $60 for less than a week on 2018-09-14, seeking a $60 loan and wouldn't you know it eBay withheld their funds hence the loan.

2018:

I'm looking to borrow $60 until Wed. or Thur. I found a really nice camera at a pawn shop. It's a $350 camera and I can get it for less than 1/3 the price. I don't think they know what they have. I sold an item on ebay for $100, but for whatever reason, Ebay decided they wanted to hold the funds until 3 days after the user receives their item. They rarely ever do this to me. But, of course the one time I really need it, they decide to put it on hold. I will take that money from Ebay here in a few days and buy Bitcoin to pay you back. I'm really afraid someone else is going to get this camera before I get those funds. So I cam here asking to borrow $60. I will pay back $70 in BTC at current rates. I really don't think collateral in necessary for my rank and trading history, but I guess we can work something out if necessary. I will have the item shipped out to the people priority mail on Saturday. They should have it Monday or Tuesday at the latest. Then Ebay usually gives me my funds a day early. So somewhere around the Wed/Thur. mark i'll be returning payment. My signature campaign will be paying me twice within the next 10 days if all else fails. So i'll be able to repay the loan no problem. I really don't like having to do this, and rarely ever do. But I have always paid back my loan when I have(you can check my feedback). Please shoot me a pm if you can help. Thanks!

2025:

Looking to borrow like $60 until at most this next Friday..
Normally, I tend to avoid doing these things, but I recently got in to selling things online. That has actually been a lot better than expected. However, the problem I have now is Ebay holding my funds. I've had to pay out of pocket to cover all of the orders until the funds are released. What I'm doing is a form of dropshipping. So, I have to cover the cost of the orders until the funds are released. I used to have instant access to the funds, but I haven't sold anything on there in a couple years.

Anyways, to get to the point, my oil pump went out in my truck the other day so what I'm using to get to work is my motorcycle. But, it's gotten a hole in the tire. I've tried regular plugs, but they just pop out. I'm looking to borrow money to either try mushroom tire plugs(which i have heard work), or get a new tire. They're only $35 and then whatever it costs to have it put on the rim. Id like to try the mushroom plugs first and walmart has a mushroom plug kit. If not, I'd have enough money leftover out of this $60 to replace the tire.

I just need it for less than a week. Either when I get paid next Friday, or whenever ebay releases my funds.

I'll repay $70 because I know nobody wants to do this for free.

Thanks guys! You all have always come through for me in the past

I suspect adroitful_one, his scamming "brother" Devawnm367 and the brother's alt hold-coins are one and the same (and adroitful_one *probably* never had their account hacked)

Devawnm367's account was unbanned on

Can anyone shed any light on why it was originally banned?
