i agree that we should feel motivated to be productive but for other people dopamine levels can only result from spending money which is not a lot of people can afford to do so
many people are forced to just work no matter how they feel it is a sad thing but it is what makes you stronger
I think dopamine will always come when it's right but alot times our mood really have a way of affecting a whole lot and when your mood is not in line with dopamine then there's nothing achievable but controlling your mood will definitely have a good effects on your dopamine levels. And again different things can actually motivate one to be successful this is why we make decisions separately but it doesn't depend on one's dopamine levels why I said it'll surely come when it's right provided you keep nurturing good thoughts within you.
