Not all people are like you or us who easily understand bitcoin, there are others who even though they read the simple meaning of bitcoin and its function, there are others who do not immediately grasp what they have read.
If they cannot understand how to send BTC, how to send or copy their receiving address to receive BTC, what wallet to use and how to keep their seed phrase, then i guess they should not use BTC, they should probably stick with fiat. It is very easy to understand the basics of BTC and for anyone who wants to use BTC, they have to put a little time and effort to learn this, if they cannot, it does not mean that learning the basics about BTC is difficult.
It could be, but come to think of it, there are millions of users of Bitcoin already around the world, and with that, we could have gone to the same growing pains in the beginning and we thought that it's difficult to understand. And some of us could have fallen to the trap and scam and be hack or lose our Bitcoin. But still though, we learn and evolve and we sharpen our skills and keep ourselves in the market.
So if the OP has this kind of negative mindset in the beginning, then he won't really prosper. But then again, as I have said, just think about the thousands if not millions or users of Bitcoin right now, so if they can do it, then the OP can also get that over the difficulty.
