If we count the number of coaches who have handled Manchester United after the Alex Ferguson era, there have been at least 8 different people who have come and gone, including interim managers. However, the expected success has not been achieved, even though the management has spent a lot of money to build squad depth in each manager tenure. Ruben Amorim has the potential to lead Manchester United to success, but he must get the same opportunity as the previous manager to build his ideal version of squad depth. Besides, no one knows for sure what caused Manchester United to have difficulty returning to its glory days, overall maybe they just haven't been lucky.
What's the current status of Manchester United? They've suffered major defeats and this have put them into compromising manner. They're striving to retain their spot as elite team in EPL but it becomes more difficult following the heavy anticipation of other fierce teams. On the records, there's absolutely no manager that can successfully fit into the shoes of Sir Alex Ferguson prime. This particular manager was a genius for the Red Devils, he acquired everything and accomplished greater outcomes with the team. Forward to today, there's absolutely no competent manager capable of handling the managerial role in Manchester United. There have been series of sacking of managers in the team, this is probably no good standards for Manchester United.
