I had a really good chat with a guy when I went out last night at a pizza pub. We were talking about the blockbuster Luca trade. We were talking about what a freak of nature Lebron is, and how well he takes care of his body. My guess is Luca was traded because of not staying in shape/injury concerns but what we were thinking is there is no way Lebron doesn't start getting on him and being a positive influence on how to start better preparing his body and all that. So I think his game is really going to go to another level..but this is just "our" theory.
It's only natural that Lebron would be a huge influence on Luka, with how highly regarded Luka already, even if he's not narcissistic there are not so many players in the NBA he'd not feel more important than, and Lebron is definitely one of them, even any knucklehead seeing how much passion on hunger Lebron does put into being game/season ready with intention of playing deeply into the playoffs each season would get inspired, he's won it all, he's topping the most important all time chart of the league, and he still comes in every night playing like he's still fighting for a roster spot. If Lebron is able to play for some 2 seasons more without being traded away from the Lakers, that might be the biggest hack to Luka's performance...
