Why bother paying with stablecoins at a vending machine? Isn't that the same as paying with cash or credit/debit card? Paying with crypto is better, imo. You'll get better privacy and freedom. Bitcoin's Lightning Network, Solana, or ETH's L2 networks (Arbitrum, Optimism, Base) might become the payment methods of choice for vending machines.
I'd see this taking off in crypto-friendly countries such as the UAE, Hong Kong, and El Salvador. Maybe even the US will join the game. Can't wait for this to become a reality soon. I'm so anxious.

Or the US would be the one to start moving toward said progression.
After all, it is the closest thing we have to a big and developed country that is eager to lead the way adoption-wise.
At least in some states.
