I believe that you should not lend money to people who are addicted to gambling and alcohol, as you are not helping them, but supporting their addiction. In my opinion, it is much more productive to educate them about the harm of their addictions. Addiction is a kind of disease that can be very difficult to cope with, especially for people who have a psychological predisposition to it. If we help such people, we should only help them with full confidence that the money will not be used to support their addiction.
Does anyone ask what they borrow money for? No one asked me about this. Only later did it turn out that I spent it in a casino. After that, no one lent me money. Yes, you are right. You should not indulge people and support their addiction, but at first it is difficult to find out the details. People trusted me and I let them down when I did not return the money on time. After all this, people did not even communicate with me, and some of them crossed me out of their lives. This is how to be addicted to gambling.
No one asks about borrowing money here but someone who is addicted to gambling usually will do anything to be able to gamble again and yes one way they can do when they still want to gamble again but no longer have the capital is to borrow money and this tends to be done by those who are addicted to gambling and is no longer a sign of addiction but rather is trapped in a gambling addiction.

By not paying the loan money on time, it can indeed make other people no longer trust you when you borrow money from them even though it is not for gambling, and in my opinion that is an irresponsible action or behavior.
