We always talk about gambling addiction here in forum but it all seems vague. What are actually signs or symptoms of gambling addiction that you can try and detect from yourself or other people?

The curiosity to be able to get a big win, even though always losing but continue to gamble. In fact, almost every day always takes the time to play even though spending a small capital because hoping to get luck from it
Curiosity isn't a good sign of gambling addiction, every body gets curious from time to time, every gambler gets curious of how a match will possibly end, and this is what drives some of us to want to bet on the match most especially then our curiosity tells us a particular team will win the match, we want to make profit of it.

Every body is curious about a thing or the other and this is a fact, so honestly, we can't say that being curious to be able to get a big (as you put it) is a sign of gambling addiction, signs of gambling addiction or what leads people to getting addicted to gambling is far more and higher than this, and the most notable of them all is uncontrolled gambling habit, many people get curious of the possibility of them winning a big amount of money from gambling, but still have control over themselves and the decision they make over gambling, when this control is lost, and the gambler can no longer drive himself but his desire driving him, then that a genuine sign of addiction.
