Just like gold, in fact, during a recession and bank failures Bitcoin may just perform very well, because it has limited quantity, it is decentralized, and it is relatively decorrelating from traditional financial markets.

There is nothing concerning Bitcoin with the bank facing a crisis and gold. These things you see are different; they are not going the same way, especially the market movement, so to me, regardless of what happens to the gold and bank, Bitcoin will still remain active because the gold and bank have nothing to do with Bitcoin. Even the economy you are saying will not affect Bitcoin. We have seen many places where their economy is down, and Bitcoin is still going well.

Like some other members I think that you answered your own question... so the final answer would be yes. Bitcoin will survive economic collapse, and I am sure that some other cryptocurrencies will survive as well. Some of them will even thrive, like Bitcoin, and maybe Ethereum, or some others I don't know, nobody knows... But I guess we all have some picks, but time will tell who was right.

Sure. Bitcoin will survive, regardless of how the economy works, and to me, we have seen such already because with the way inflation affected many things now, and bitcoin is still moving, is another reason why we should believe that bitcoin will survive even if the economy is bad, although I don’t really know about the other cryptocurrencies, but since there are some altcoins that are following the bitcoin trend, we may have some altcoins that can survive the same way.
