I honestly can't understand how teams like Chelsea and Manchester United work. In Chelsea's case, they made a lot of signings, but they already had João Felix and other players, why didn't they sell some players first and then buy others? To make matters worse, the Chelsea coach doesn't put players who have been on the bench for a long time, like João Felix, in less important games. That's why I've been saying that Chelsea and Manchester United destroy players.
From what I read, they had a new owner, who wanted to make a name, and wanted to spend money, so he would look like he is caring. Which is why they made rushed decisions and spent a lot of money, and gave huge long contracts, in order to appease the owner, who could turn around and tell the fans that he is trying his hardest and spending hundreds of millions of pounds on transfers.

This move being fast equaled to them not being able to sell their players quickly enough, not as fast as they were buying players. At some point I remember them having 40+ players on their first team, and that is not acceptable at all of course. Eventually, they sold some, and loaned out some like Felix, so they have less now, still too much, but at least lesser.
