In the condition that Manchester City is currently in, I don't have much hope for them for the second leg. A win is a must for them and that's tough to pull off in Madrid.
The biggest problem that Manchester City now has and what made them always strong during their top times was that once they scored a goal, they played with all the coolness in the world. Guardiola's tiki taka style while still creating chances and knocking the opponent out if focus is lost for a second and Manchester City finds the gap and finishes the attack. Usually it was 2-0 and game over. But it is not like that anymore, Manchester City is getting nervous despite having the lead because they have lost the lead like a dozen times this season. And they lost leads not only of 1 goal, but 3 goals.
Mentally it is hard to rebuild what they were all about since they remain in the whole same constellation of players and coach and everyone around them.
