It was disappointing as to how, Atalanta did manage to draw against a side like Club Brugge. It didn’t really matter if they were at home, given the squad Atalanta have got, the Europa league defending champions at that. They ought to have taken all 3 points in this game but nope, they resolved to sharing points which doesn’t really serve them well but, it’s still okay.

Bayern Munich on the other hand got the best of Celtic. After Celtic got their first goal disallowed due to offside, they did open the scoring unto Bayern that managed to get 2 goals before conceiving 1.

Club brugge is a solid team and home and they surprised a lot of big teams in the last couple of seasons and i knew this wasnt gonna be easy for Atalanta. Bayern Munich on the other hand struggled a lot with Celtic,after Celtic scored their goal they could have tied the game,but in Munchen i dont think Celtic has a chance
atalanta where just too unlucky to have conceded a penalty at almost the last blow of the whistle in the extra time, never to under estimate club brugge but the officiating might have looked too harsh on atalanta in giving that penalty out in just something that is almost close to the end of the game. good for atalanta is that the loss is at away so the implication is not all that tough and they can easily turn things around if they go to their home and fight to get a win. one good thing about most of the wins at the play off is that it is just a one nil lead that still gives an open opportunity for the last league to be something that is worth fighting for. the task is simple, work on beating them a 2 nil lead at your home and you have sealed your qualification very sharply. Club brugge will come in to get a draw and will be as defensive as possible to the end of the game, it is a bad one for atalanta but they are equal to the task.
