Who dare underestimate Club Brugge those guys are fucking good. I predicted them to win today and knowing full well that Atalanta has not been in their best performance. I dont know if Lookman is back to the team because two matches back he wast available of which his absence has affected the team in the aspect of creating goal opportunities and scoring as well. TBH it is so painful to see Atalanta getting at the edge of being eliminated from the UCL. They have to do better in the second leg. I know they started the league with good performance slowly they started dropping.
The outcome of the match was unexpected since Club Brugge was the underdog. They were good in the attack but the chances they created were not clinical finished to produce a more goals. The biggest loser was Isak Hien, who gave a woeful pass that caused Atalanta to concede the first goal and also caused the penalty. Ademola Lookman was not in the lineup today. Maybe he had not recovered fully from injury.
Atalanta's inability to create goal scoring chances.shows that Lookman is an important player that is underated. Atalanta still has the opportunity to qualify if they can beat the Belgian side with a higher goal margin in the return keg in Italy
The result from the champions league knock out play off is really surprising, seeing Atalanta, AC Milan, and Monaco lost their game tonight is quite unexpected. Club Brugge did perform greatly in this game, and did show an astonishing performance judging in the way they played and won Atalanta.
I am more surprised on that of Atalanta and Milan or is it that they will put all their best in the second leg. This will make them play with pressure. However, since it's one goal difference, they might be able to take advantage of that and score more goals. However, Juventus cannot score too many goals.
