I have a wallet which I thought was empty for months. I just recently logged in to that wallet and find out that it has still some Bitcoins. Those Bitcoins came into wallet in early part of 2024 when price of Bitcoin was around 60 to 70k. I asked Chatgpt to tell me how much I have gained and to my delight the gain is 40% (as per chatgpt calculations). A gain of 40% in less then a year is too good. I know we can easily see such gain from CMC and other websites but experiencing this in real life has it's own Aroma.

Those who thought it's too late to buy bitcoin when it was over 50k can see how much Bitcoin has gained in less then a year.

Sometimes it's blessing in disguise that we forget things we have in our custody like Bitcoins. But Bitcoin and just forget them (without losing the keys)

Only because of OpSec I am not sharing screenshot of my wallet along with other details. Hope it's not required as I want to highlight the point related to Bitcoin gain in value and advantage of forgetting the Bitcoins you have (without losing the keys).
I thought it was too late at 3000

Well if you still have not started stacking sats, you better get started, and if you have ONLY stacked a few sats, you better continue stacking for the next 4 years to 10 years or longer since it tends to take a while to build up a decently sized bitcoin stash, unless you might be able to front-load your investment then you might be able to get to a status of over accumulation more quickly.

Agreed to your point that it’s not late to buy bitcoin because as world is accepting bitcoin it will make huge difference in terms of price but when the price of bictoin is at its lowest price that is the right time
To enter in the crypto world. Most people enter when everyone from big fishes start selling their coins.
Don't you mean "most people enter when Bitcoin is bullish"? I mean, that's what most "noobs" do. They get all excited once prices are going up, only to end up buying high and selling low. Like you've said, the right time to buy is when prices are low. It's just that most people are afraid of doing so because they think prices are going to decline even further. "Old timers" like myself know how the market works, so we will keep buying BTC no matter what. Since the world hasn't completely moved away from cash (coins and paper money), I'd say it's still early to buy Bitcoin. The "fun" is just getting started... Cheesy
Yes, and as far as my experience goes, that is where I know when to enter. And that is during the bear market, just like in this cycle, we have the lowest price of $15,500. And so if by chance you but Bitcoin at that price, you should be in a lot of profits even at the current price point of below $100k.

And this could be another lessons that after this bull market, then maybe we can all star from scratch and start investing in the new bear market in 2026. So a lot of time to think about it though for newbies and maybe they will go with this mindset instead of procrastinating that the price is very expensive.

We are talking about a newbie right at this moment..who either does not have any coins or has very few  coins.

Are you, as a newbie low coiner or no coiner getting started right away at today's prices Dave1 or are you waiting?

Waiting does not seem like a good strategy to me.  If you already have been stacking for 7.5 years, which might be your situation, then your situation is different.  You might be in a position to wait, perhaps?  assuming that you have accumulated enough or more than enough BTC.

Bitcoin was never expensive. That kind of thinking is just people who don't understand that they can buy Bitcoin in fractional amounts - it's cheaper and more affordable for everyone. Don't get hung up on the current price of Bitcoin which is $97k USD. If people keep thinking that it's too late and they won't be able to afford it anymore because the price is already expensive, then they will be stuck there and will never buy Bitcoin because their mind tells them that it's already expensive. Change your mindset, because Bitcoin was never expensive and it's very affordable for everyone.
Don't lie to yourself because the fact is that the price of bitcoin is expensive? But there are certain patterns that can be utilized even though the price continues to increase. Buying bitcoin is also available in small amounts so this advantage is what makes bitcoin an investment for everyone, not just for groups or individuals who have a lot of money. It's different when you invest in other models such as property because not having enough money will not give you the opportunity to start.

The interesting part about the condition of changing the mindset is because if we don't start now we will be left behind. Just buy in the amount that you can afford and consistently apply it so that slowly we will definitely grow our assets to be bigger and there is no need to force it, just with the ability that we have.

Bitcoin costs what it costs.  It is not expensive.  So if you are telling yourself that it is  expensive, then you are in the wrong mindset.  If you are new to bitcoin or you are a low coiner (or no coiner), you need to spend 4-10 years or more accumulating bitcoin without being overly concerned about the price.  Of course, the more BTC you accumulate, then you might start to get to point where you might start to be more concerned about price, but focusing on price should not be a heavy priority in the earliest times of accumulating bitcoin and building up your BTC stash size.

Another thing is that several posters seem to be suggesting that BTC prices are guaranteed to go up, especially in the long term which is not the case.  There is also no guarantee that BTC prices will go down, which is part of the reason to just continue to buy if you are a low coiner and to get started if you are a no coiner.  Waiting is not any kind of good way to prepare for up, even if UP is not guaranteed it is better to be prepared for it by buying bitcoin.  If you are waiting then you are not preparing for up (or you are presuming that you are already sufficiently prepared for up, which may well not be true, and  tends to not be true with 99% of the population that are either no coiners or low coiners).
