I've used different operating systems on linux for mining and I've had no problems with video cards where the bios has been modified. I usually keep the original bios to reflash the video card before selling or gifting it.
If you have a programmer and know how to use it, you won't ruin your video card by flashing the bios. In my country it costs $20 to flash the bios. If you decide to flash it, check the cost of this service in your country.
I flashed original bios techpowerup yesterday correctly. Now i have no problems with drivers in Windows 10 and 11. Thanks for all my friend !
Great, you don't have to be afraid to flash the bios.
Many rx570 video cards have universal bios. You can use it from another graphics card with supported memory and the graphics card will not turn into a brick. But I prefer not to do this.
