These hackers create accounts without any verification. They then use URLs containing malware links to post harmful content on our forum. This type of activity is not only annoying but also poses a significant threat to everyone involved. On a healthy forum, user should never be compelled to write threads complaining about URL spam.
Sir Theymos once mentioned in one of his post that there shall be no room for "newbie jail" ever again on this forum (i.e restricting newbies from performing certain task). And as such, the best way to avoiding scams is for each and every one of us to avoid clicking on unknown links, be security conscious, and be at alert at all times on this forum. Because bitcointalk is a general public forum that harbors people of diverse nationality, culture and religion, and as such, there can never be any 100% policy to be put in place to prevent and eradicate scams entirely on this forum. Because even if you restrict Newbies account today, those scammers can grow their accounts and wait until they are either  "Jr Member or Member" rank before they can continue their scamming activity.
