Why does it matters what "we" want?  Some people, governments  and/or institutions have heard about bitcoin and  they are not being quiet about bitcoin's value proposition in terms of buying it up.

This has become every man, woman, and/or child for himself, while companies, governments and status quo rich people start to suck up as much of the BTC as they are able to suck up, and sure, there are some governments, companies and status quo rich people who have not yet figured it out, and sure no real problem for any of us who believe that we largely front-run the recent arrival BIG players, yet those who have not gotten any BTC or have barely started to buy bitcoin (no coiners and low coiners), they are going to have to buy at higher prices, since it can take a long-ass time to build up a decently-sized BTC stash, whether they start buying BTC now (such as, as soon as possible), or if they choose to wait and buy BTC later... yes.. later at a likely higher price, and sure some won't buy BTC and will die as no coiners, but others are going to figure it out, even though it may well take some time for "everyone" to realize that they should get some corn in case it catches on.

Hopefully, you have gotten enough Abiky, especially since you have been around these here parts nearly as long as me.
Of course. I have some BTC. But lost many in the early days due to cloud mining scams. I've been accumulating BTC ever since, without selling a single sat. The only thing I've been selling are altcoins since they usually come and go. If more people accumulate BTC, big companies such as BlackRock and Strategy will have less chance of "owning all of the BTC". And let's not forget about governments too. Some of them have big BTC holdings in their reserves. The US and El Salvador are good examples of this.

I know most people don't care about decentralization as long as their pockets are filled with money. Even noobs are accumulating XRP when it's a "banker's coin". Only a handful of people truly believe in Bitcoin. That's a very small minority. But at least, it's better something than nothing. Hopefully, Bitcoin stays decentralized and censorship-resistant forever. Smiley

Well, sorry to hear about your earlier losses of coins, and I hope that your earlier losses of coins did not contribute towards your becoming a more whimpy BTC accumulator.  There are quite a few of us who had made mistakes at various points in times in regards to our building and/or preserving our BTC stash..
he
Another thing is that I hope that you are not too distracted by XRP or other shitcoins that are likely showing a lot of other folks are distracted to the  extent that they believe in those various shitcoins, and so the fact that so many shitcoins continue to get pumped and we even hear retarded people (even seemingly smart people) talking about shitcoins as if there were some kind of meaningful value proposition, shows that there is a lot of asymmetric information out there and if you know about bitcoin  and its value proposition, it seems best to continue to try to stack as aggressively as you are able to until you get to a point of overaccumulation.

And yeah governments, institutions and status quo rich  folks are learning more and more about bitcoin, yet we are still early because a whole hell of a lot of them are still distracted in regards to various supposed value propositions of shitcoins.  So a lot of them have to go through the shitcoin phase  and the dumbass ideas in which they don't really understand bitcoin before they are able to really focus on bitcoin...and yeah, sure some of them actually get it, but a lot of them are still distracted and following dumb shitcoining momentums of Trump and some of the other shitcoiners in his circles.

Until you get more than enough bitcoin (which seems you are not yet at that place), then it is best to stay focused on consistent, persistent, ongoing and perhaps even aggressive buying of BTC, and not fucking around trying to trade (since selling is not a way to be sure to accumulate more bitcoin) or get distracted by shitcoins or what others might be doing... sure you are already in a better place than a lot of people if you have some bitcoin, and you are even in a better place if you can  focus on stacking sats while others are spending time waiting for dips that might not happen, and surely waiting is not any kind of investment strategy, unless you have already reached a status in which you have too much bitcoin, then you would be in a better place to wait, as long as you have not mis-assessed your own over-accumulation level, which a lot  of guys make that mistake too, and come to believe that they have enough or more than enough, when they actually are lying/deceiving themselves  because they are waiting  rather than ongoingly buying as they should be...but yeah, in the end each of us makes our choices, and we have to live with the consequences, including choosing to wait versus buy is a choice.
