Good news for Arsenal supporters. It's been reported that Bukayo Saka is now preparing for his return after being sidelined since December. Pictures of the England international having personal training surfaced the internet today and one of them is the one attached to this post which showed the scar of his surgery. Since he's started training, it seems he might return to playing for the Gunners before the predicted time and that I think will serve as a major boost to Arsenal's quest to catch up with league leaders Liverpool in the league standings

That is a first important step for him as he is needed more than ever before. The biggest risk now is for Arsenal to try to bring him back too quickly. I know they will do everything in their power to preserve a reasonable approach here and provide him with a timeline that minimizes risk, but given that there are so many injuries now that Arsenal has to get along with, the pressure to return players into the main squad is high. All those huge games are inbound and their physiotherapists and doctors have to do the best job ever.

Arteta has probably still some minor hope left that Liverpool could go through some difficult games like the one against Everton, but if their own team is decimated due to injuries, what is the chance that Arsenal will win all their games at the same time?

It is a problematic situation and for sure he would not want to risk to get eliminated from the Champions League as that is a title I think Arsenal would have had a chance to win, but only if they got their full squad or at least most of the players would be fit. With a long list of injuries, Arsenal is not quite the club that can compensate for all those losses in quality.
