It's very surprising that at Robert Lewandowski's age, he's still doing incredibly well for Barcelona. I was one of the people who thought his move to Barcelona was too late and that he won't be able to be as prolific at Spanish club as he was at Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich but he's defiled all odds to be the highest scoring player in the Spanish La Liga in the last three seasons combined. If Barcelona is considering to extend his contract with the club which was supposed to expire at the end of next season, I think it'll be a good move for the club. He deserves a contract extension of he wants to remain at the club since he's still performing at the top of his game for the Spanish giants
Robert Lewandowski has played very well for Barcelona which is big surprise to many people. He has scored many goals and is best scorer in Spanish league for last three years. It would be good idea for Barcelona to give him new contract because he is still playing at very high level. Lewandowski works very hard and loves game which is inspiring to see. He definitely deserves new contract if he wants to stay with Barcelona.
Barcelona will have to look for a replacement for Robert Lewandowski when he is in good form as he has aged enough and if Barcelona cannot find another suitable striker to replace him in his presence then their performance will suffer again. The way Robert Lewandowski is performing, maybe we will see him again for the next two or three seasons, but he won't be able to perform as well as he did before. Although he can score regularly now, the striker is not able to perform as well as he did when he was young, so his performance and pace will decrease as he ages. Instead of this player, Barcelona need to find a player who can contribute well for the club. In such a position, Barcelona may want to select young and talented players.
