To me the debate should focus on how to legitimately use AI in this forum so that it doesn't remain a cave of Australopithecus while the world moves forward but that doesn't seem to be on the table.
Months ago, a discussion about deployment of tag against AI-generated posts.
It will cost a lot of resource to scrape forum data as well as check and compare it with many data on Internet. I remember a global moderator said that doing this will require huge resources and cost, so it won't be deployed.
Not this post, but perhaps hilariousandco talked about tag too.
Currently there are no rules but AI posting shouldn't be allowed for people to just copy and paste responses with no effort. In certain circumstances it could be ok as long as it's quoted and noted that it's AI generated content in a similar way that another's work you are relaying should be quoted and sourced. If it's not then it's the same as plagiarism to me.
