There is only one winner on this war. Not Ruzzia. Not Ukraine. Not Europe.
There is no point in repeating this for the eleventh time, everyone has already understood that you don't give a damn about Ukraine. Well, at least you stopped saying that Ukraine is winning.

I am not saying Ukaine is winning - please quote me if I have ever stated that Ukraine is winning in this war (as in the whole war) otherwise do not lie.

Ukraine has pulled out some great actions like recovering Kherson, defending Kiev, taking back land, destroying the Black Sea fleet, that is a fact, but it is not enough to call a territorial victory. However, Ukraine as of now can also present some gains in political stance, likely better security in the future and better links to Europe, in exchange it is likely to loose some territory. Depending on the negotiations, Ukraine can become a safer, better, more developed country and be properly defended from Ruzzia. This can be presented as a reasonable result of such an unbalanced conflict - if a big bully is going after you and you manage to hit back, make sure he does not come back, make friends along the way and you get a black eye in return... well, you have a black eye, but you have won some important things.

Has Ruzzia achieved marginal gains? Yes - like some territory, resources - probably depending on the negotiations because Trump wants those resources too - in exchange for a huge a amount of military reserves, population loss and many many military pensions to pay in the future - just to mention a few of the problems.

Again, I have always said that Ukraine is not a winner, what woud be interesting is to have some of the resident trolls here saying that Ruzzia has not achieved something you could call a victory.

If you ask me, from the strategy perspective, Ruzzia failed in strategic terms, Ukraine lost in tactical terms. There is no absolute winner.

I think that the way to have a winner would be to keep the fight during one more year, with proper resources given to Ukraine so that they could win and Ruzzia gets the message that any further agression leads to nothing. This, even if some territory is lost, I would call a decissive victory.

Anyway, I am not sure Putin will live for the next attempt.
