Maybe we don't need to be disappointed with the draw. Because previously many had predicted that the match would end in a draw and even I also really believed and said before that Lazio has always been a team that knows Napoli's weaknesses. Although Napoli tried to change their strategy in the second half by giving a strong attack, it actually endangered Lazio's counterattack. Because Napoli used a 3-5-2 formation which could actually put pressure on Lazio but Napoli's defense would definitely be very weak. So there is no other reason than to just choose to hold on to a draw and share points rather than ending up losing.
Expecting a win from this game was something I really didn't put my mind to but I predicted that they were both going to have a goal but I didn't expect a gaol so seeing this now actually didn't come as surprising really. Napoli has not shown so much definition in their performance in recent times and so I had it in mind that at some point Napoli may not have the best performance people may expect of them, but then for this particular game I didn't have any expectations in particular. But I think Lazio is doing great.As for this game, as expected I knew it was actually going to be a fierce encounter between this two teams because since Lazio are playing at home, they wouldn't want Napoli to run them over, so they really put up a good fight in this game.
In my own opinion they were the better side, just that they fail to take their chances, because if they have took their chances, they would have won, but it's a fair result actually, and I think that the biggest winner of this game will be inter Milan only if they can beat the old ladies of Juventus, and if they can get the maximum point from today's game, they are going to go above Napoli by a point, which is actually going to be a moral buster for this inter Milan side in their quest for the title.
Them as for Atalanta, it's a very sad one that they can't capitalize on this golden opportunity to close down on Napoli and possibly inter Milan if they can't win at Juventus, but it's actually going to be a fascinating encounter title race between now and the end of the season.
