See, there you go.  Most people just don't understand the game; the four teams have signed an international agreement to spend 2% of time of their GMP (Gross Minutes of Play) fighting.  Since the Swedes and the Fins aren't pulling their weight and Canada is also lagging slightly in percentage GMP, it's up to USA to force the issue and spend more of their GMP fighting.  It's a balancing act really which really only rears its ugly head in international play.
