I remember years back  before I knew about sport betting; there was a football viewing center close to our house. The noise and jubilation that comes out from there always makes us wonder why people love football so much. Not until I realized the shout and jubilation was because people placed bet on those matches.
So, it's not like they are happy their favorite club won but because they won.  Grin
Do you get excited because your favorite club won or because your ticket won?

Both, certainly!

The thrill of watching my favorite team win is a powerful experience and I will always support them, celebrating their victories or lamenting their defeats. Obviously, sports betting adds an additional layer to this emotion because the results of games have a direct financial impact on emotions, but to this day I do not recall ever having bet against my own team, regardless of its situation or difficulty. The most I have ever done was to refrain from betting when I knew the result would be quite "difficult".

But what I can say is that the thrill of watching my team win is amplified by the satisfaction of winning the bet due to the financial gain that obviously increases this satisfaction.

But as I said before about refraining from betting, here is an important detail... the experience of a healthy game is to balance the emotion of the sport with the responsible management of bets, so even if you support your favorite team, you need to separate this feeling from reason in order to be able to manage your bets cautiously and accept the possibility of loss if it is imminent.
