I remember years back before I knew about sport betting; there was a football viewing center close to our house. The noise and jubilation that comes out from there always makes us wonder why people love football so much. Not until I realized the shout and jubilation was because people placed bet on those matches.
So, it's not like they are happy their favorite club won but because they won.
Do you get excited because your favorite club won or because your ticket won?
I can be happy if my team wins the match or I will make my bet. Recently I have not been too committed to any sports team therefore I don't celebrate their wins much. But I have so much joy when I win big because it will affect my financial status positively. I could remember when I ran out of the house to the road to celebrate my team's victory in the UEFA champions league semifinals. I don't have such zeal or love for my club anymore since the club was sold. I don't care about club loyalty anymore, I prefer winning my bets. So, it's not like they are happy their favorite club won but because they won.
