Again and again, Madrid lost their momentum as today's match saw them pick up just 1 point with some drama in the match.
Jude's red card was one of the things that did affect the quality of attack in this match and indeed 1 point is still quite good than nothing at all, it's just that with this result, Barcelona's chance to top the standings is very large now.
Apart from the final result on the scoreboard, I am actually more interested in the referee's leadership including the decision he gave to Jude in this match.
It's not that I don't like the final result, but there were a lot of controversies that were actually visible to the layman's eye and the conditions in the match were not favorable for Madrid.
This clearly must be a lesson for La Liga because it seems that there are still a lot of improvements that must be made, especially if something like this is not the first time this has happened, which in the end if something like this is allowed and the manager is not too concerned about this then indeed this is clearly very bad. Enough of them being criticized for the treatment of racism do not let this referee problem further deteriorate the image of La Liga.
Madrid was at a disadvantage in this match even though this is just an expression of disappointment from a fan and seems dramatized but I'm pretty sure not a few people think the same thing.
Yep, indeed in the end there were some decisions that were actually quite questionable which made the situation in this match quite strange for me because after all there were too many decisions that did not make sense especially for some violations and even hand balls that were not considered, the strangest thing was when Jude protested and even the referee immediately gave a red card which even though if you see a statement from Jude it seems that there is a miss communication or the referee's ignorance of English where Jude says “fuck off but is considered f**k u”.
The question now is whether the referee doesn't understand English or whether he heard it wrong, regardless of that everything that has happened cannot be changed even though in this case Madrid suffered a loss because they only won 1 point.
It's a bit regrettable but it should be a concern because as you said it seems like La Liga needs to upgrade their system in several ways including some innovations in soccer technology and refereeing leadership because for the big leagues it's actually quite ridiculous if a referee who can't speak an international language is allowed to become a referee.
