You could sign and publish a Bitcoin signed message when you've solved puzzle #135 where it won't matter because the public key is already public. But if the solver of puzzle #67 does what you suggest, then #67's coins are gone.

You understand that you expose the public key with a signed Bitcoin message? Only a fool would do that for yet unsolved low range puzzles.
