The best way to gamble is to gamble for the fun of it and not to make money off gambling, I know this is hard for most people but taking money away from gambling will give us great satisfaction so for sure to gamble on the safer side we need to always check the limits at which we put profits in front.

Having a responsible gambling life is a lifelong journey that requires discipline and dedication to apply all the roles that keep you on the safe side while gambling.
You are absolutely correct that is the real truth about it, because as a good gambler once you see gambling as an entertainment or having fun you wouldn't experience any much losses in gambling. Already as gambler we most expect winning but let it be something that we don't rely on, so that even if we don't win will would be able to control ourself without panicking.
Gambling strictly for fun does not reduce the chances of the gambler losing some or most of his or her bet, infact, let me say that if gambling for fun had a way it increases our chances of winning, I did probably be a millionaire from  gambling by now because it's been like 3 to 4 years since I stopped gambling for the money but for fun.

So, from my personal experience, I totally agree that it's better to gamble for the fun in gambling than the money, and one of the benefits of this pratice is that, it will help the gambler to enjoy gambling more, since loses isn't really a factor to seriously consider, one can enjoy the game more, gambling for profit often gives birth to fear, anxiety and frustration, and at the worst level, it causes depression and even suicidal thoughts or maybe suicide itself when the gambler ended up lossing more instead of their expected win, it can also lead to addiction since gambling for money can often tempt the gambler to chase after loses.

So, indeed, gambling for fun is more enjoyable than gambling for money, but this also will require alot of discipline and self control, something I personal have also learnt to subject myself to, and it's really been helpful.
