I'm not surprised that Manchester United loss that match to Tottenham Hotspur like their performance this season is the worst so far,even as a Manchester United fans I can't even bet on my Club to have a win. I know a lot people would be blaming Amorim for the poor performance of the players but that's not true,Amorim is a good coach with great Experience I think the problems of Manchester United lies with the players,the players are just the problems,they performance in the field is very poor, they are playing professional football like Amateurs. One thing we should understand about football is that if the Coach is good and the players are not in good forms the results/outcome will often come out negative. If Manchester united escape relegation this season and if coach Amorim wants to succeed in Old Trafford,he should sell off all those old players and start buying quality young and vibrant players that are good no matter the Cost.
Manchester United started the match with 11 injured players, Ruben Amorim clearly could not do much with the condition of the team, it is natural that the Red Devils suffered a defeat. Tottenham actually also faced almost the same injury problems, but the number of injured players was not as many as Manchester United. In my opinion, that is the most logical reason why Tottenham were able to secure full points, they deserved it.
A squad depth overhaul is indeed needed by Ruben Amorim, they have missed a good opportunity in the January transfer market, and most likely the management will fully support Ruben Amorim in the summer transfer market. For now, Ruben Amorim must work extra hard, while experimenting with the available players, so that Manchester United does not slump even worse in the future.
