There are lots of things you can do to make money.  If you are experienced, post your portfolio at sites like fiverr.   If you are inexperienced, you'll need to either hustle your way into a paying gig, or create one yourself.   For example, I have the domain https://vod.vet - I am going to apply this script to it for just a couple hundred.  Should be able to sell the site and make a profit, even with the enhanced license fee needed for a live site.   (Normally I stay away from scripts that have paid add ons, but in this case I feel their marketing plan is very smart.   They charge you a small fee and if you are successful, they charge you the full fee.   If you are not successful and cannot sell it, you don't have to shell out for the extended support.

How are you with programming?  With the advent of cheap IP cameras, local storage of video is moving away from corporations to personal homes.  Lots of room for improvement in the GUIs of their webcams - after all, they are a hardware company.    I'm surprised I haven't seen a program yet that can auto adjust your windows based on activity.  Every vendor seems to look at the standard "flash the window if motion detected" and not innovate.

TLDR; Identify something you like doing.  Create something to make it better, then sell the idea.
