Of course, this rarely happens, more precisely depending on luck. However, sports betting certainly requires prior research on the team we will choose, we can't just place crazy bets on any team we will bet on. Unless both teams are equally strong, it is possible to place a big bet because the winning result depends entirely on luck.

The crazy bets like Op said have big odds but would hardly play as predicted. A friend once mentioned to me that he placed a bet on his team to make the first throw-in and to his surprise they never had an opportunity for that till almost the end of first half. So, the crazy bets probably pays out big but the chances of winning are not there.

When you say crazy bets it is basically the bet with the highest odds and the probability of winning those bets is very low.

Have you seen people who have this strategy that only place the higher odds bets or that's only but with less money. They will lose these bets often but even a few wins can cover their losses very quickly.

But I hardly believe that this strategy can be profitable in the long run 🧐
Of course, a strategy with bets on high odds always has a bad chance of success. But if you choose more equal opponents who will have approximately equal chances with high odds, that's what I like. Only on condition that the player is well versed in this sport, these teams, leagues and players. Moreover, this is exactly how I bet, of course I can't boast that I am a winning player, but I like to play this way, try this strategy. But I am absolutely sure that I will never bet with the smallest odds. I have seen many times how people lost huge money there, thinking that they could win and take a hundred bucks, and in the end they lost thousands, so sad.
