I get where you're coming from—most meme coins or "shitcoins" as you refer to them, don’t bring real innovation and are just hype-driven. But some do help bring mainstream attention to crypto, which can be a good thing. Just think of how much exposure to crypto coins like DOGE or SHIBA brought to crypto from people who have never even heard of cryptocurrency before. Thats at least how I see it.
Investing in shitcoins is just like gambling, the risk of losing your money is very high and many today are afraid to invest in crypto because of the negative experience they have had with some shitcoins and so the shitcoins you just mentioned did not bring any exposure to crypto currency. If you want to talk about coin that's has brought exposure to crypto you should be talking about bitcoin and not shitcoins.
