I don’t even know what the hell is web3.0 and I’ll probably never learn unless I have to. Somehow it seems the devs are trying hard to blockchainize everything but guess what, not everything has to operate on a blockchain. I can play games without blockchain just fine. Why do I need it? There isn’t an answer. I think the devs are trying to find a solution to a problem that doesn’t even exist. Blockchain games? Who even cares seriously
The devs care (and their investors) because of the profit that they make for those games. Are easier to build, move money, pay in money, and can be listed in exchangers!

Some (if not 95% of them) aren't even games in the sense we know them. I guess that advertising a game in Web3 which is fully blockchain can attract more people and convince them about its fairness and safety. However, I doubt that anyone from the people who are involved with such "games" cares if their game is blockchained.
