Chelsea are in a bad position this year. The club have recorded a total eight games in 2025 winning just three, losing three including back to back loses to Brighton in the FA cup and EPl respectively and drawing two. They urgently need to step up or else they will lose the top four place at the end of the season.
I remember how impressed everyone was with Chelsea's performance at the start of the season and how sure people were that they would continue to do well this season. I doubted Chelsea since the beginning of the season that we shouldn't assume they'll be at their best all season; their performance may suffer at the end of the season because not all of the players have the strength to perform well in the Premier League for the whole season.
Furthermore, Cole Palmer, who has been rescuing Chelsea from the beginning of the season and has scored four goals in a single game, has been attacked by many since he hardly scores goals at this stage. We still don't understand the reason of Chelsea's whole team, which was changed after they failed to maintain their position in the top four. I'm still surprised by Chelsea's defeat to Brighton seeing they didn't have a single shot on goal during the game.
