The title said it already, some people argue that they are just gambling for fun and that they don't gambling because they want to make money from gambling but sometimes people that makes such kinds of statement still get addicted to gambling. Is it normal?
I don't believe in such a kind of statement, but I respect anyone who says that. Perhaps we all have different views and considerations about gambling, but for me and for the majority, that is absolutely for money.
Base on assumption, I think people that gamble for fun are not supposed to get addicted because they are not putting in all their energy, the only people I expect to get addicted is those that are putting every of their energy so that they can make money all the time, from gambling. What do you guy believe?
Well, despite saying it was for entertainment, a chance of falling into addiction is still there. It was just like drinking alcohol, because the moment we fall into addiction, it is already a sign that we are on the wrong path. A good approach and self-control are necessary at all times, if possible.
Most people are in it for the money, but I do think some genuinely play just for fun. The problem is, even if you start out that way, the thrill of winning can make you want to keep going.
That’s why I like platforms that give more than just the gambling aspect that helps with self-control, at least for me.
At the end of the day, though, I agree—it all comes down to moderation and knowing when to step back.
