Knowing that the money was gotten from gambling fortune, the Clergy accepted the money but condem gambling.
I don't want to judge the clergy, but this comes from my own perspective. I will not accept the money I have to be true to what I'm preaching to my congregation; there are other ways to raise funds for religious purposes and not accepting money from something I abhor.
This is just me giving my opinion if I am the clergy, but the clergy on the topic must have his own opinion and defense on the matter.
