Seems quite simple to me, if you didn't create it yourself you should attribute it correctly.
However, just like any other rule or guideline (official/unofficial/common sense/etc) on this forum, it only works for people who actually want this to be a forum and not a shitposting cesspool.
I wouldn't call it "way out" but it is clear to me that we have to adapt to the new situation, there is no other way. Staying inside the cave while the world changes is not a solution.
I wouldn't call it "world changing", it's just a bullshit marketing campaign trying to convince us that generative AI is the next tech revolution and that NVIDIA is worth 15 gazillion galactic credits because reasons. Anyone remember metaverse and how that changed the world? What was it before then, 3D something or other perhaps...
Having said that, I'm rooting for AI to destroy social media, it'd be glorious, and it's well under way. Sadly this forum will likely fail before then.
