Gambling and religion are two parallel lines so they can't be mixed together you can be a good religious person and still gamble because almost all religions are against gambling as an habit due to the fact that it involves you spending your money, gambling is like reaping where you do not sow and religion is against getting fast wealth which is synonymous with gambling and if religion is against gambling then the product of such should not also be allowed so the clergy man that collected money from the proceeds of gambling is wrong as he should not have collected it in the first place

That is why you will mostly discover that the most religious people don't care about gambling and they will always take any form of attack on it, even when the religion being practiced never go against such, people on their own opinion will always execute judgement on whatever thing they don't go well with, gambling is a thing of choice, if they find no fun in it, then they shouldn't condemn it on others who are enjoying having many exciting opportunities from it, afteral, after every win, you will hardly see a Clergy man who will not receive earning we make from gambling when taken to them, either they were aware of it or not, people love money even than the religion they practice, this the kind of life we find ourselves in.
