During many years, many forum members asked about new forum software, Epochtalk that was announced to stop its development weeks ago; or to upgrade the SMF forum software to a newest version.

Newbies certainly come to this forum and think that this is old fashioned. But you will get used to it, and it is much better than new fancy platforms like reddit (i prefer this forum UI).
I would love to see this forum stay as it is for as much as possible. I didn't like epochtalk UI.
At first I anticipated the epochtalk but slowly forgot about it and I'm actually enjoying the forum UI. Although, I must say at first the forum UI was really poor or stressful for me, and that was among the reason I didn't try to spend time here at first but with time, everything including the UI did became great to me and I can say this will often be many view of the UI, and also, not ignoring the reason why the UI is still kept like this.
Thinking now, if there's a vote about changing the forum UI, I may likely stick with this.

I can't lie I did learn a lot from this oftentimes I'm the kind of guy who would prefer writing my code from scratch but this just gave me an enlighten knowledge about previous codes.
