During many years, many forum members asked about new forum software, Epochtalk that was announced to stop its development weeks ago; or to upgrade the SMF forum software to a newest version.

Newbies certainly come to this forum and think that this is old fashioned. But you will get used to it, and it is much better than new fancy platforms like reddit (i prefer this forum UI).
I would love to see this forum stay as it is for as much as possible. I didn't like epochtalk UI.
This is one thing about newbies when they signed up they always comes with their other social app mentality and would also want here to look as one because they are more familiar with those platforms, and of course if you aren't stable over here and just signed up you would wished the forum to be just like your regular social app or they would want some features that are there to be implemented over here without them knowing that this is separately platform and doesn't have same functionality as social app, even though it's a discussion forum mainly for Bitcoin it doesn't in any way looks like their regulars.
