I don't know if it's funny or sad, but in all these years I have never seen anyone write that they requested an item instead of BTC, or even more interesting are the famous Rolex and Amazon gift cards that probably no one has ever seen. Freebitcoin seems to be full of tricks... 
I'm sure a good team (even a not-so-good team) would be able to fix all the bugs on the site, but the main question is do they even want to fix it?
They don't need to ship anything for the gift cards they can just send the code of the gift card by email. But AFAIK worl wide gift card don't exist at Amazon. So if they give you a gift card for Amazon US you will only be able to use it on Amazon US and not on the Amazon platform of another country, there are 23 local platforms afaik. But unfortunately FBC doesn't even say for which country those gif cards are made for. I think that many users wouldn't be particularly interested in receiving a gift card or physical prize from Wheel of Fortune even if they won. At least because users in different jurisdictions have different conditions with the delivery, duties, and taxes. In other words, it's unprofitable and too much hassle, while there is an alternative option to receive the prize, namely the BTC equivalent. The same can be said about Lambo.
