Dude. Since the pi network launched their platform, there's a lot of fuds out there especially like mining on phone and it was proven back then that's not literally mining. I am too who used that app years ago and I'm being skeptical too. The chain doesn't exist at first even they keep saying that it exists. In 2021, they implemented enclosed mainnet and after 4 years, (yes 4 years) the mainnet launched.

There are internal issues too within the founders of Pi network team (u can search about it) and users are doubting about the product (also needed kyc for validating the mined pi right?)

There are plenty of fuds in the past, you can't blame him if he's being skeptical too and just warning out some friends here to be cautious. Yes, you guys won, Pi got listed but OP and other people who didn't throw time to Pi probably earning more in Bitcoin and other crypto. Imagine, the growth they've gather by exploring those blue chips altcoins like for example (eth, bsc, solana) for the past years is massive than staying and just believing in Pi which got listed just recently? Imagine the gap...

So I can't really blame him for not trusting it and the fuds are reasonable to be fair.

I'm not against with the Pi users and congratulations, team made it possible after many years, but I just want to say that his warning from the past is practical, some changes happened so you guys made profit from it. I myself ignored Pi and discontinued the mining due to fuds but hey, I focused on other profitable blue chips like eth and solana so it's a win win for us. My wallet which is very early in Solana received so many airdrops like Bonk and the recent one is Pengu so those who've been careful from the past is winning already.
