What makes Real Madrid stand out from the rest of the teams in the UEFA Champions League competition this season is the mentality of the club players and that's why you'll still see them show strong spirit of determination even when they're losing. Most of the players in the squad have either won one or multiple UEFA Champions League trophy with the current manager so they already understand the level of positive mindset they should always possess whenever they're on the pitch.
Kylian Mbappe was star performer of the night but you can't take away the fact that all members of the team played important roles in helping the club beat a strong European club like Manchester City.

It's true that Real Madrid's mentality is of course always good which in the end always creates good games, so it's not surprising that Real Madrid won now and also the victory in the 1st leg at the Etihad because Real Madrid's mentality is of course very strong and it seems like this has become a characteristic of Real Madrid. Yes, it is true that having experienced players who have won trophies in the UCL such as Vinicius, Belingham and others certainly makes Real Madrid a club that will undoubtedly be able to overcome existing problems.

Even though Mbappe is a star player, of course Real Madrid's success is the result of the cooperation of all the players, in the end Mbappe is the person who can continue and take advantage of the opportunities created. In essence, all Real Madrid players are extraordinary.

With this victory Madrid qualified for the next phase, and if I'm not mistaken the goal that Mbappe created was his first hat-trick in the Champions League with Real Madrid. we don't need to doubt the mentality of the Real Madrid players, because after all they are the top team and have many star players. well, in this second leg I saw something strange with Pep Guardiola, because he didn't play his main team. I'm not sure about Manchester City's lineup, I don't know what Pep Guardiola was thinking. maybe he's no longer interested in fielding his main squad, and giving more opportunities to other players. there are several things that I question, but all of that is no longer important, City failed in this playoff phase. my guess is, they are back to focusing on their Domestic League, they have to win the match against Liverpool so that their position is not shifted by the team below them. but what is certain is that Madrid played quite well, Valverde who became a wing-back, Rodrygo, Tchouameni, Bellingham and of course Vinicius Jr and Mbappe. well, congratulations to Madrid for the next phase.
