As I wrote earlier, I had a very strong gambling addiction. I lost a large sum of money and still owed not only my friends, but also banks. Not long ago I was able to close the last payment on the loan. Do you understand? I took out a loan in order to gamble again and again. It's just a real nightmare. I would not wish what I had to go through after all this on anyone.

I could not even imagine that I could go down such a hole from which there would be no way out, as it seemed to me at the time. Fortunately, I came to my senses in time and began to take radical measures to cope with the consequences of my unreasonable decisions.

You are the first person I have seen online who openly admits to have taken loans to gamble and was able to close those loans successfully, which is very impressive, would you not mind to share more about your story with us, though? How much of your income were your borrowing from banks and how much accumulated wager you managed to reach before you realized there was something wrong going on with you?
How much time did it take you to pay all the money and did your friend ask you for interest? I am sure the banks did because that is part of their business, but usually friends (true friends) won't charge any meaningful interest to their loved ones.

Anyways, I am glad you have managed to get all under control and you are more responsible with your money and what you do with it.
