After being eliminated from the Champions League, of course Manchester City will focus more on the Premier League, maybe the opportunity to pursue the title is too difficult but realistically they will maintain the opportunity to finish in the Champions League zone only.
I would say that Manchester City's elimination from the Champions League competition is a blessing in disguise . Even if manchester city could have somehow qualified for the next round , it was not possible for this team to dominate the Champions league and win the title. The team's performance was very erratic.
Since Manchester city has been eliminated from the Champions League, now Manchester City can give their full focus to the Premier League matches. In the upcoming matches of the Premier league, we will probably see more organized performances from city players. Manchester city is now fighting to qualify for the Champions league from the top four of the points table.
It could be that this is a blessing in disguise for Man City itself this season. Because with their current performance, sooner or later they will still be eliminated from the UCL even if, for example, they manage to qualify for the round of 16. So being eliminated sooner might actually give Man City more time to improve their squad and be more focused on maintaining the opportunity to stay in 4th place in order to get a ticket to the UCL next season.
It's just quite unfortunate because this week they have to face Liverpool. This is really going to be very interesting. And I personally probably wouldn't even take the risk of favoring either team to win. I will look at the chances of other options for this fight.
