Of course, Pep should be proud that his rival kicked his ass out of the league. However, something strange happened yesterday. Unlike Manchester City who we know are always dominating their opponents and do have the highest ball possession, was unable to hold the ball for long. Madrid was the ones in charge of all the ball possessions, dominated the game and scored more goals.
Pep possibly feels very bad with his decision to stay with Manchester City after winning 3 titles exclusively Champions League title three seasons ago. If he had left them in that summer, he would have been recognized differently. With this season, it's another evidence that Pep Guardiola is repeating his failures in Barcelona and Bayern Munich when his tactics were constrained by opponents and he failed to change and series of bad results come consequently.
He is amazing at building teams, he is not good at "re"building teams. But this time, he does have a contract, and if he does stay until the end of the contract, then we can definitely see him try to rebuild this entire team, many of the older players will leave, and he will have to rebuild, he already started by getting a few young players, we will see how it goes.

However, Pep will go through something he has never gone through before, which is basically just being terrible, he normally just leaves at this stage, and goes to another rich team, and just builds a team there. This is why I honestly believed PSG was a good destination for him, an obvious league title every year, and try to make them win UCL would be this goal.
